Psychologist | Systemic Psychotherapist | Yoga & Meditation Instructor

My journey into the human psyche began long before my formal studies. As a child, I remember sitting on a bench in a neighborhood square, simply observing people. I was fascinated by their interactions, their unspoken languages, and the stories etched on their faces.

This curiosity led me to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to study Psychology, and later to France for postgraduate studies in Neuropsychology. I wanted to understand the biological and cognitive machinery of the brain. Yet, I felt a piece of the puzzle was missing. I realized that to truly help someone, we must look beyond the brain – we must look at the Soul and the System they live in.

This realization took me down two parallel paths: the clinical path of Systemic Psychotherapy, working with families and individuals to heal their relational patterns; and the spiritual path of the East, immersing myself in Yoga and Zen Buddhism for over 15 years. I realized that while therapy helps us understand the roots of our story, these ancient practices give us the strength to rewrite it.

kōyō is the convergence of these worlds. It is where clinical science meets the stillness of the tea ceremony. It is where I act not as a “healer” who fixes you, but as a companion who holds the lantern while you walk your own path of self-discovery.
